What we collect, and why
The contact form. You give us a name, an email address and a message. We use them only to reply to you. Without them we cannot write back.
Server logs. For every page viewed, our host automatically records an IP address, the date, the time, the page requested and the type of browser. These records keep the site running and protect it from attacks.
Fonts. The site’s typefaces are loaded from the Google Fonts servers. Your browser contacts them directly, which passes your IP address to Google.
Payment. Card payments take place on Stripe’s own pages. Your card number never passes through this site and we never see it.
The growers’ portraits
The grower pages show a house name, a first name, a district, a photograph and a few sentences. They are published with the agreement of the families concerned.
Anyone featured there may ask at any time for their page to be corrected or removed entirely, without having to give a reason. A message to timanu.moresby@gmail.com is enough, and removal follows within days.
What we do not do
- This site sets no cookies.
- No audience measurement tool is installed.
- No advertising, no tracking pixels, no tracking social buttons.
- Your data is never sold, rented or exchanged.
- No profiling, no automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
- Messages received through the form: three years after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Server logs: kept by the host for the period set by its own rules, for security purposes.
- Growers’ portraits: for as long as the person concerned agrees to it.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to object to its use, or to receive a copy of it.
Simply write to timanu.moresby@gmail.com. We answer within one month.
The General Data Protection Regulation has applied in New Caledonia since 1 June 2019. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority, www.cnil.fr.
Who else sees your data
We rely on a small number of providers, each for one precise task:
- Hostinger, for hosting the site and its logs, in Cyprus, within the European Union.
- Stripe, for card payments.
- Google, for the site’s fonts.
Changes
This policy may change, for instance if we add an audience measurement tool or a new payment method. The date shown at the top of this page is that of the version in force.
